Because of the shorter lifespan of our pets, Waterford Veterinary Center stresses the importance of an annual physical examination. Thorough check-ups and preventive care can help alleviate serious health problems. We offer a wide range of veterinary services to keep your companions feeling their best:
Dentistry: Our dental services include comprehensive dental cleaning and polishing; dental radiology, tooth extractions, and minor oral surgery
Diagnostic and Therapeutic Service: Our in-house laboratory facilities provide for serum chemistry, hematology, serology, and urinalysis. We also utilize commercial veterinary laboratories for specialized diagnostics and consultations.
Dietary and Weight Management Counseling: We will provide guidance regarding your pet's nutritional needs for each life stage, including dietary requirements for growth, weight maintenance, and performance.

Individualized Parasite Control Programs: We develop plans for the specific needs of your pet and your own particular environmental situation. We will review with you the best ways to control parasites in your house, in your yard and on your pet.
Permanent identification: We offer microchip identification using the smallest implant needle available.
Pharmacy: We maintain a complete inventory of pharmaceuticals for the most common problems your pet is likely to have, so you can leave the same day with your medications. We also stock a variety of shampoos, flea and tick control products, heartworm preventatives, and prescription diets to meet the needs of your pet.
Referral Services: Our close relationships with many other veterinary practices near and far allow us to confidently refer you out to local specialists for advanced work-ups, including ophthalmologists and cardiologists, as well as referral for CT scans as indicated.
Surgical Services: Highly equipped surgical suite with general and advanced soft tissue surgery, ranging from spays and neuters to mass removals and urgent care exploratory procedures
Wellness & Vaccinations: General wellness and preventative care, vaccines, and lifestyle consultations. We also offer puppy and kitten packages to get your new family members started on the right track in life!
